BECOMING A
MISS THOMASVILLE CONTESTANT |

If you are interested in becoming a 2010 Miss Thomasville contestant , please refer to the requirements below. If you meet these requirements, and would like to become a contestant, please send us an e-mail asking for the "Prospective Miss Contestant Fact Sheet". After you have completed the Fact Sheet, follow the instructions on how to submit it. Once this form has been received, you will be provided with additional forms and information that you will need to complete in order to participate as a contestant in the 2010 Miss Thomasville Scholarship Pageant.

Interview
25%
 A 10 minute private interview with a panel of judges. (9 1/2 minutes of questions with a 30 second closing if you choose.)  |
LifeStyle/Fitness
15%
A one or two piece swimsuit of your choice. Swimsuit should be in good taste for a family show. |
Talent
35%
Two minute maximum time limit on your talent presentation. |

+ Eligibility Requirements
-
Must be a resident of the United States of America,
-
Must first be a resident of the state of North Carolina, AND
-
Be a resident of;
-
OR enrolled in and attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university in;
-
OR employed on a full-time basis in;
-
Davidson, Randolph, Guilford, Alamance, Davie, or Montgomery counties for at least six (6) months by the date of our local pageant.
-
Must be born female, single, never married or had a marriage annulled.
-
Must not now be or never have been pregnant.
-
Must be of good moral character and in good health and have no criminal record.
-
Must be between seventeen (17) years old and at least in the 12th grade of high school on the date of the pageant, and
-
Must be no older than twenty four (24) years old on December 31, 2010.
-
Develop and promote a community service platform. (A cause and service project that is of personal interest to each individual contestant.)

There is NO entry fee required to participate. |

Childrens Miracle Network |
|
|
Miss America has partnered with the Childrens Miracle Network to develop a national platform. Upon entry into the 2010 Miss Thomasville pageant each contestant is required to raise a $100 donation to the Miss America national platform; Childrens Miracle Network. A contestant will NOT be allowed to compete if this requirement is not met before the date of our local pageant. If this is the first pageant that you are competing in this season, go to the bottom of the page to "New Contestants-Click Here" button Complete the information and enter pageant year 2010 with title competing for being Miss Thomasville. If you have already registered for this pageant season, do not change your id, you only need to update the tiitle. |
